Den Grønne Gren is situated in the heart of Ærø on the main road in the village Bregninge. The house is a former co-op store – converted into a café, shop and bedrooms. Behind the house you will find a magnificent garden in 3 levels with one of the oldest copper beaches on the island. In the summer we serve you outdoors, and also have music arrangements etc.

On the 2nd floor – the old store loft – we have established 5 light and modern rooms as well as 3 cosy areas for our guests. The rooms are decorated in a style both new and old, which makes each room unique.

The café is light and spacious with rustic tiles on the floors. A smell of newly baked bread, spices and freshly ground coffee is always in the air.

There are many activities and places to visit in a short distance from Den Grønne Gren. For example Uldgården with its many lovely wool products, Ærø Smykker - jewellery made with locally found stones, galleries, Bregninge church – famous for its grandiose gothic arch and altar piece, walking tours in beautiful countryside, the beach Endeløse and Synneshøj - the highest viewpoint on Ærø, which is also within walking distance.
